Aerial photography pink salt lake with white salt shore and green land

"SHARP" was captured over the shallows of Lake Eyre (Kati Thanda).

The flight over Kati Thanda showed us so many sections, colours and stories of this natural wonder. The lake can be found in South Australia and is 9,500 sq km in size. On the rare occasions that it fills, this is the largest lake in Australia and has the same salinity level as the ocean.

It was the contrast, the lines and the distinct pink which stood out to me. I love the slightly curved line delineating between the baron land, pure white salt crust and shallow pink saline water. I believe it makes for an earthy capture of colours while the water ripples are so pleasingly sharp.
