"HONEST THIEF" was captured at an Australian burnout competition.

Some cars run methanol and this, combined with the heat and burning rubber sometimes erupts in flame and fire as can be seen in this image. No one was hurt and the excess methanol burns out quickly.

I am consistently impressed by the passion and dedication of car building and maintenance. These cars are built tough and certainly get put through their paces.

This capture was a case of me being in the right spot at the right time. I love the colour palette and the depth to the flame.
