"A LONG WAIT" was captured during a helicopter flight over Bondi Beach, Sydney, Australia.

It's hard not to sound cliché about all the reasons I love this image. So aside from the colours, the summer warmth, and joy this picture depicts – it reminds me we live in a lucky country, which makes all of these experiences and quiet moments with the ocean something to be very grateful for.

The gentle rhythm of the ocean leaves amazing shapes, patterns and depth, especially when seen from above.

These three surfers have a long wait between sets, but when the waves come it makes it all worth it.
